Sean Harlow
Bringing over 20 years of experience from the built environment and real estate sectors; Sean is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) in Facilities Management and is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv).
Sean collaborates with Landlords and Asset Managers to promote responsible investor strategies, including Net Zero Carbon, green building certification schemes, compliance, utility procurement strategies and lead internal stakeholders on developing both socially engaging and environmentally friendly ways of working. Sean formulates strategic advice tailored to both internal and external stakeholder sustainability needs.
Prior to working at BNP Paribas Real Estate, Sean worked at Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE and other construction and engineering service providers with a focus on engineering and the environment.
Sean has worked on a large number of engineered solutions that have delivered true energy and carbon savings to Landlords and Occupiers. This has aided Sean’s clients in their pursuit of Net Zero Carbon buildings, by tackling operational energy intensities before major project investments and additionally reduced the risks associated with stranded assets. His advisory services have supported the betterment of voluntary disclosures like GRESB and environmental legislation such as MEES Regulations, increasing asset valuations and reducing transition risks with investors.
Sean is passionate about promoting social impact and inclusion, especially on neurodiversity and women in engineering.
