09 October 2023The Managing Agents Partnership (MAP) has today announced the addition of Sanderson Weatherall to its membership, which now represents 18 members who are committed to improving the sustainable management of commercial property assets.
With a history in property consultancy dating back to 1833, Sanderson Weatherall have nine local offices across the UK and over 200 talented individuals working in them, helping owners, occupiers, developers, investors and financial institutions with professional advice. Sanderson Weatherall manages over £750m in property assets across (the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland)
In July 2023, Sanderson Weatherall joined the SME Climate Hub, pledging to halve its carbon emissions by 2030, achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050, and to regularly report on progress towards these aims. However, Sanderson Weatherall have their own Net Zero target date of 2035 and are on track to achieve this. With a commitment to sustainable activity across the business, Sanderson Weatherall also have a Community Investment Programme, to encourage teams to support local community organisations. Sanderson Weatherall offers all of its employees, (full-time and part-time), two paid days per year to undertake CSR-related activities. Some of their recent initiatives include an annual charity bike ride, regular beach cleans and litter picks local to their offices, park regeneration projects and offering pro bono work for local charities.
The MAP is thrilled that Sanderson Weatherall have joined the growing number of organisations working together to improve the sustainable management of commercial buildings.
