Federico Montella

Federico is a chartered engineer (CEng) with over 20 years of experience in the sustainability sector for the real estate. He joined Lambert Smith Hampton as head of ESG & Sustainability to lead the Company’s sustainability and Net-Zero strategy as well as to develop integrated sustainability solutions in the property management sector and services for the Consult and Transact sectors of the Company. Prior to that, he led the first Sustainability programme at WeWork across 13 countries in EMEA, 9M sqft of real estate portfolio and a community of 100k members. He has worked with architects such as HLM and Sheppard Robson to lead award winning schemes across different sectors, including 2 CIBSE Building Performance Awards. Federico has been speaking at national and international conferences, such as the Urban Land Institute’s European Sustainability Council Day and represents LSH at the MAP Better Buildings Partnership.

Federico is a BREEAM AP, Certified Passivhaus Consultant, a CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant and holds and MSc in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association in London where he then taught as a professor for 5 years
